The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, January 14 reveals Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will gloat.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will bicker. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will leave the hospital. And Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will alert Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to what’s going on with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Y&R spoilers tease Sharon and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will fret about where Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) could be. Obviously, no one in their family has told them he’s been caught. Tessa will arrive and tell Sharon she was there earlier and wanted to speak with her.
Sharon will ask if Mariah’s okay and Tessa will admit she doesn’t know. But she’ll say her wife has left the clinic in Boston. Sharon will say she feels like she let Mariah down when she needed her. Tessa will tell her she’s been tracking her wife on the family tracking app. And she’s getting farther and farther away from Genoa City.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Tells Tessa She’s Sorry It’s Come To This
“I’m filing for divorce,” Tessa will confess. Sharon will ask if she’s sure and Tessa will start crying. “I can’t keep living in this limbo.” Sharon will say she’s so sorry for both of them and for Ari. “I need to move on,” Tessa will reply. “Because it’s not fair to Aria and it’s not fair to me.” Then Sharon will embrace Tessa.
On Cane’s choo choo train, Victor will warn him and Phyllis they don’t know who they’re messing with. “Someone finally beat you, it’s overdue,” Phyllis will tell him. She’ll add there’s nothing he can do about it. Victor will ask what Cane wants, he’ll say he’ll give him Arabesque.
“There’s not going to be a buy-out price,” Cane will reply. “I’m with Phyllis here, Newman Enterprises is ours and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it.” He’ll remind Victor he tarnished his father’s reputation. However, he’ll throw him a bone and sell him Arabesque for pennies on the dollar.
“You and Phyllis, you’re going to regret this move until your dying day,” Victor will respond. Then he’ll turn to Phyllis and tell her Summer’s going to loathe her for destroying her grandfather and her father’s company and he’ll storm away.
At the hospital, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will visit Nick. He’ll tell his brother he feels like crap. “At least the doctor agreed to up my pain meds.” Adam will say he hopes they took the edge off, and he’ll fill him in about a collapsing Newman Enterprises.
Nick will ask who did it. “Cane and Phyllis,” he’ll reply, adding they could lose everything. “Jack and Kyle nabbed Matt Clark, tried to trade him for the AI program,” Adam will add. So, Nick will ask if they have him in custody. Adam will say no, things went to hell before Victor even had a chance to consider the trade.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Tells His Brother It’s A Bad Idea
Nick will tell Adam he can’t stay there while their family company goes up in flames. So, he’ll ask Adam to help him up. Adam will tell his brother this is a bad idea. Nick will wince as he gets up from the hospital bed. “I’m leaving, can you get out of my way? he’ll say to Adam. “Or help me.”
Meanwhile, Nikki will be in panic mode. She’ll tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) she warned Victor he was playing with fire. “I begged your father to destroy that program!” Nikki will add. “His vendetta against Jack may cause us to lose everything.”
Victoria will say she’s sure Victor will do something or make a deal with Cane. But Nikki will tell her the Great Victor Newman may have finally met his match. Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will show up and Nikki will tell her Newman Enterprises is under attack.
Then Victor will arrive at the ranch and say it was Cane and Phyllis who did this. “Isn’t there anything we can do to stop it?” Nikki will ask. Victor will say no, they’re going to have to start selling bits and pieces of the company. “Victor, how could you have let this happen?” Nikki will ask.
He’ll get up and pour himself a drink and Nikki will say if he had just destroyed the AI when she begged him to this wouldn’t be happening. “You mean when you threatened to walk out on me?!” Victor will shout.
Finally, Adam and Nick will walk in. Nikki will ask Nick what he’s doing there. Adam will say he tried to stop him but he wouldn’t listen. “I’m the only person in this family who even has a chance of getting Phyllis to listen,” Nick will tell them. “So she can put an end to this insanity.” But can he talk some sense into Phyllis?
